Attractions For Kids

Looking for fun stuff to do? Sharing with you our favorite attractions.

Sesame place. Our favorite theme park, hands down. We’ve been taking the kids to Sesame Place since Kenzie turned one. You’ll have a fun filled day of rides, games, parades, shows, water rides/slides and so much more. A must, dine with Elmo and friends! It’s a full buffet and meet and greet/show with all of the characters from Sesame Street.

Crayola Experience. If your kids are into arts and crafts like mine, they’ll love it here. You guys can play and create cool stuff like your very own crayons, drip art, rings(melt & mold), painting portraits and more. My kids favorite part is the water works level. After all the fun you can visit the cafe crayola for some sweets.

National Aquarium. Another favorite (especially Nasir’s). This is great for a family outing day. Super fun and chill atmosphere.

Port Discovery Children’s Museum. We’ve recently visited here for the first time ever. I’d highly recommend(we’re already planning a second trip). It’s one big imaginative adventure. Everything is hands on, so the littles will stay busy all throughout your visit. They have arts, workshops, gallery’s, play area’s, indoor sports, adventure expeditions, reading areas, imaginative play, water areas and more. You’ll want to make a whole day of it.

National Air and Space Museum. We love it here. You can learn how things fly, visit the theater, view all sorts of exhibitions, they also have story time for children 2-8(perfect for mama to sit for a sec lol). It’s great to get there a bit early, because it’s a popular museum.

Smithsonian National Zoo. We’re a family who loves the zoo. We go a couple times per year. Keeps the littles entertained, fun and close to home. We take our time walking through the zoo, so it can turn into an all-day thing. We pack snacks and sometimes even lunch to have while at the zoo.

Hershey Park. It’s fun for everyone. From kiddie rides to adults. You can visit Hershey’s chocolate world, ZooAmerica, play games, shop and more.

Six Flags. Great for getting the kids out and about for a few hours. Their kids attractions are perfect for some light fun.

SkyZone. When all else fails, SkyZone! Perfect for when you really didn’t have anything planned , but you need to get the littles out of the house. Or even when you set up play dates. Freestyle jumping, basketball, dodgeball, foam zone, ninja course and climbing. This is your ultimate go to. They have many locations, so they are not hard to find.
