Tools And Tips On Establishing Your Brand

Your brand is the whole feel and look. Establishing your brand is super important because it’s what makes a memorable impression on consumers. It’s what sells/pushes your product(along with your actual product of course). It’s what sets your company apart from the rest. It’s a true representation of how you want your business to be perceived as. Things to think about, what do you want people to remember you/your business as? What are you selling or offering, and does that make sense with your look and feel? Who’s your audience and main consumer? What do you offer that no one else does? Is it the experience you give, the one of a kind product you offer? As promised, heres all my go-to’s for all things branding, creating, tools and my must-haves.

Everything I use:

Website development

Squarespace, I’m biased lol, but only because I’ve been using them for years, for all of my websites. Squarespace is easy to use and it’s literally a one stop shop for all your needs(online stores, scheduling, booking). You can build your website, create a domain(or transfer your current one) and so much more. They are definitely worth it.

Invoicing, payments +shipping

PayPal, I use them for all my invoicing and receiving payments(floral).

Stripe, a complete payments platform. Connect Stripe to your website and you’ll receive all payments to your preferred bank. It keeps track of all reports(gross, net, new customers, successful payments, etc) They are great for keeping you organized.

ShipStation, you can connect to your website/website store. Your customer’s order will automatically transfer over/make shipping labels. You can create, update and pay for your shipping fees all in one spot. All you have to do is drop(or schedule a pick up) your packages off at the post office. It’s super easy to setup and use.

Custom printing services

Sticker Mule, a favorite of mine. Super fast turnaround, great quality, free proofs and easy to work with. Oh, and they often give you free shipping! Use them for all your custom labels, packaging tools and more.

Noissue, my go-to for tissue paper, tags, stamps and boxes. All custom eco-friendly. Their website lets you customize, edit and proof. They also have a low product purchase minimum.

Moo, for your business cards, notecards and envelopes. They do offer so much more, but I personally use them for what I listed.

Zazzle, great for custom stationary. I recently tried this company out, and I would recommend. They are great for your paper/stationary needs.

A few tips:

Always quality over quantity. I know everyone loves a good deal(me included), but this is your brand we’re talking about. Never cut corners. Build your brand with quality in mind, always.

Get samples before your order custom products in bulk. Make sure you’re 100% satisfied. This is your brand, so take your time with it.

Try different companies. One certain company may not be the best fit for everyone.
