Tips For A Healthy Summer
As a mama, my top priority is to keep us all healthy. Especially during times such as these. Here are some of my tips for staying healthy, while still enjoying the summer.
MAKE IT A POINT TO ENJOY ACTIVITIES OUTDOORS
Parks, amusement parks, pools, etc. The outdoors give you breathing room, social distancing and space to enjoy yourself without being under/super close to others.
PACK MINI SANITIZING ITEMS
Carry mini hand sanitizers that fit in your purse, backpacks, kids bags, etc. Also, keep other sanitizers like, baby wipes and mini lysol spray bottles so that you’re always prepared. This way you can be sure to keep the kids hands and face clean throughout the day/outings.
PRACTICE GREAT HAND HYGIENE
Get/stay in routine of washing hands thoroughly, consistently.
CONTINUE TO WEAR A MASK
Now, I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but here is it. I can’t stress enough how important it is, for you and the kids to still wear a mask(while shopping, indoors with others, etc.) This protects you and others by reducing the spread of different viruses.
CONTINUE TO PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING
No such thing as being “to safe”. This is really a “respect my space” era lol.
TAKE YOUR VITAMINS
A few of our go-to vitamins: elderberry immune support, kids multi-vitamin(a blend of vitamin A, C, D, E, Bs &Zinc), Immune C.
EAT FRUIT EVERYDAY
Make it a point to add fruit to each meal of the day. Citrus fruit, apples, papaya, pineapple, grapefruit, pears, blueberries.
