Imaginations Run Wild At LEGO Discovery Center
This weekend we got to discover the place where imaginations run wild, LEGO Discovery Center, and I must say 10/10 highly recommend. You’ll start your adventure as a mini-figure creator. You'll be able to customize your mini-figure with a torso, a head, legs, and even a hat. The kids loved creating and carrying their figure along while we explored.
Once you finish creating your mini-figure, you’ll walk into a world of fun. Let’s jump right into the many different attractions that you and especially the kids will enjoy.
Creative Club: You sit and build. There are markers, colored pencils, paper and of course LEGO’s to amplify your creativity.
Mini World: This was mamas fav lol. I mean, really! This attraction was so cool. It’s made with more than 1.5 million LEGO’s. You'll even find some of Washington DC's most recognizable places. Nasir enjoyed interacting(moving the trucks, trains and animals) with the mini world.
Imagination Express: Sit, ride and interact. The imagination express was probably the kids favorite attraction. You get to gather points on this journey, and who doesn’t love a little friendly family competition.
Build Adventures: Son son had us at this attraction for a good little minute. If you know him, cars and building are his favorite things. You can create your own LEGO car and launch it off the ramp.
Spaceship Build and Scan: Once you build and customize your spaceship, you can launch it into cyberspace. What’s really cool is you can play with all of your friends in cyberspace(it’s one huge screen).
Hero Adventures: Enjoy a LEGO laser maze, climbing wall and soft-play playground.
The Workshop: If you want to sharpen your LEGO building skills, you can join a workshop and meet a master model builder, who will share their tips and tricks to improve your LEGO building skills.
4D Cinema: You’ll love this sensory cinema. It rains, blows winds an even snows during the film.
