Girls trip to Eastern Caribbean—mama getaway

Traveling/vacations are always a good idea—because why not, right? They’re needed. Vacations are a necessity for a well-balanced and healthy life. This mama getaway was needed. Not to mention, girls trips are always fun. Good company, good laughs, good tan lines, good food and even better scenery and excursions. Other than sitting on my balcony while listening to the ocean or laying out by the water eating pizza—the peak of my trip was definitely Nassau, Bahamas. The greenery was nothing short of amazing. Greenery and sunlight are the perfect pair. You guys know I live for greenery, plants, etc. Everything was absolutely beautiful. I didn’t get as many pictures as I would like, but I guess that’s a great thing because I was living and enjoying every moment of my trip.

Mama was living...

Day 1

Ported from Miami. Once on the ship, took the rest of the day to do absolutely nothing, yup nothing. It was everything to just unwind, relax and sleep. Had a cute little dinner with my mom—just the two of us. Loved every bit of this because we rarely get time to just sit, talk and eat together.

Day 2

Woke up and came straight to the balcony. Soaking up every bit of the sound of the waves, good weather and sunlight. Literally the most peaceful atmosphere. Guess what I had for breakfast this morning...mimosas. I was on vacation—mama did what she wanted lol. Mimosas are always a good time. Fun day at sea. I sat out by the pool for most of the day. Oh, and ate pizza. Pizza is life.

Day 3

Turks and Caicos was our first stop. Fun day on the beach, bar(Margaritaville) and pool.  It’s so beautiful there. I probably got most of my tan from here lol. Laying out by the pool is probably one of my new favorite things to do. This was my first time visiting Margaritaville in Turks and Caicos. Everything!

Day 4

Arrival to Princess Cays, the Bahamas. Shopping and more laying out on the private beach. I actually put my feet in the water. I love the beach and will lay out on the beach all day, but it’s rare you’ll see me in the ocean water. Bahamas heat is a different type of heat lol so we didn’t stay out for too long. Bomb experience though.

Day 5

Peak of my trip. Spent the day on the beach at Atlantis resort, Nassau Bahamas and site seeing. Soaking up the sun and amazing weather. We also did a lot of walking. Wasn’t expected, but I’m glad we did because I got to see the most beautiful greenery and landmarks. Our excursions consisted of a chocolate tour/tasting, wine tasting, cigar bar/factory and the most popular seafood & steak restaurant in Nassau. I’m not into chocolate or even sweets really, but it was fun to see chocolate being made, and all the different kinds of infused chocolates. Wine tasting was my favorite of course. I mean who doesn’t love a good wine tasting? The cigar bar/factory was cool af. I actually walked through the factory while the cigars were being handmade. I was in awe the whole entire time.
